In April, Medicare will begin mailing out new cards to everyone. This is a measure to help protect seniors identity. The new cards will have a unique ID number on them. This will be better in the long run then using your social security number.
Medicare will mail it out to the address social security has on file. If you need to update the address please call 1800-772-1213. All your medicare benefits will stay the same just a new card.
